Welcome to Principal’s Corner. It is hard to believe that we are in the last week of October. Time flies when you are having fun. The weather is forecast to be a little colder this week. Be sure to send your student with a warm jacket, toque, mittens/gloves. Students go outside for recess and they tend to have more fun if they are warm. We are excited to welcome our Black Gold School trustees to our school this week. We have some fantastic leaders who will be the tour guides for the visit.

Volunteers Wanted
The Parent Association is currently looking for 3-4 more Volunteer Coordinators to join our Ball Hockey Tournament Planning Committee. This is our biggest fundraiser event of the year! Plus it’s super fun for the kids! The ball hockey tournament is tentatively scheduled Saturday May 27th. Planning will commence in October. In particular we are looking for volunteers to help coordinate business sponsorship, player swag bags, raffle prizes and a 50/50.
