Welcome to Principal’s Corner. We had a fantastic time with our Carnaval. It was great to see so many parents and volunteers in our school. We couldn’t have done it without you. This week and next we will be having our Leader in Me assemblies. Our gym video walls are currently not working so we are having assemblies in the flex space. I have divided up the grades as this space can only accomodate a smaller group of students. We will continue to share the pictures of our Leaders of the Month.

Carnaval
Students had so much fun at our Winter Carnaval. We started the day with an assembly with each class nominating a Duc & Duchesse. Students enjoyed a variety activities such as tug-o-war, parachute, relays, and playing wooden spoons. The favourite station was the hot chocolate station! A huge thank you to our French Immersion staff who organized this event for the entire school. Our Parent Association also help pay for some items used for Carnaval. Some of our Grade 6 students enjoyed their time at the Oil Kings game last Friday. Great job at reading and winning your tickets.
Grade 3B and 3Imm students participated in an in-school fieldtrip. They built a playground structure as part of their science unit.

Hot Lunch
