    Welcome to the Principal’s Corner

The PowerSchool Parent Portal is now closed for viewing assignments and marks. Teachers are busy finalizing Term 1 marks and comments and the Portal will open again on February 2 for viewing. Please see image below on how to access your child’s report card. If you have questions about your child’s report card, please reach out to their teacher(s).

Reminder: There are still a few students who have not brought a second pair of shoes. A clean indoor pair of shoes is required and running shoes are required for physed class. If you are unable to provide an indoor pair, please notify us.

Don’t forget, that Wednesday, January 31 is a PD day and there is NO SCHOOL for students.

Congratulations to our Mini Girls Basketball team! They played hard during their end of season tournament this past weekend and made it to the Bronze medal game. We are so proud of you and your accomplishments over the season.

Both Senior JH basketball teams played in the Leduc Tap-19 tournament this past weekend. They battled through some tough games and both groups grew as a team. Unfortunately, the win-loss record doesn’t demonstrate each team’s growth, however, we are very proud of both teams and their outstanding effort and sportsmanship. The coaches look forward to a great season ahead. You can see a few pictures below.

Thank you to all parents and coaches for their efforts and dedication to provide their time to support our basketball program! You are all appreciated and the students are grateful for the opportunity to play on a team.

In an effort to enhance communication around extracurricular opportunities, we have created a digital sign up for all activities as they become available. This google form is required for students to participate and to help us with our planning. Once practices begin, parents will fill out the required permission forms in PowerSchool and pay the applicable fee.

If your child is interested in participating in any extracurricular activities, please use the sign-up forms that will be posted in this section. You can access each form by clicking on the images below.

** There are currently no activity sign-ups.

    SPIRIT WEAR STORE

As you know, we were excited to launch the opening of our new online school spirit wear store with Lil’ Buckeroo Designs. Thank you to everyone who purchased some new Duck Gear.

The store is still open and you have an option to ship to your home or do a pick up in the shop in New Sarepta. Deliveries to the school only happen when we do a school wide campaign like we just completed prior to Dec. 10. We will let you know when new items are added and when we plan to do another school wide order. Don’t miss out on your chance to get some new spirit wear. You can visit our store by clicking on this LINK. Goooo Ducks!

    HOT LUNCH

Click on the image above to order hot lunch.

The Hot Lunch Program is up and running. It runs from October to June.

Menus will be loaded into the system in groups: October to Christmas break, January to Spring break and April to the end of the school year.

The Hot Lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering.

In order for vendors to fulfill our Hot Lunch orders, we need to close ordering from 10 – 14 days in advance, therefore, please ensure that you place your Hot Lunch order before each deadline. The deadline is noted on each vendor menu.
