Welcome to the Principal’s Corner

On behalf of our office team, we would like to wish all EDMS staff, students and their families a summer filled with joy, fun, and relaxation.

To our Grade 9s, we wish you much success in your next chapter in your educational journey. May your next years be filled with exciting discoveries and opportunities for growth! To our K-8 students, we send best wishes for a wonderful 24-25 school year. To our staff who are leaving and/or retiring, you will be deeply missed! We wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Thank you for your dedication and the positive impact you’ve made on our school community.

We would also like to extend a huge welcome to our new staff! Mrs. Woronuk, Mrs. Savard, and Mr. Ramsay are excited to be your new admin team and they will reach out with further communication in August.

As I bid farewell after a decade of growth, learning, and countless cherished memories, my heart swells with gratitude. Opening this school has been an incredible journey. Your unwavering support, dedication, and passion have shaped our community into something truly special. Though I am leaving, the spirit of École Dansereau Meadows will always remain with me. Thank you for an unforgettable ten years.

I bid a fond farewell to the EDMS Ducks!

My year was a short, but sweet stop at EDMS, and it is unfortunate that I didn’t have more time to get to know everyone. I appreciated having the opportunity to be a part of the wonderful Dansereau community, even if it was only for one year. I really enjoyed supporting the learning of a number of students, as well as coaching a few teams throughout the year. I had lots of laughs, serious, energetic, and/or fun moments while getting to know many students in both elementary and junior high. You are fabulous humans and I thank you for the memories. Enjoy your summer and best wishes to you all for next year!

We are Thrilled to Announce that Mrs. Hirst, Junior High Educational Assistant, has been nominated for the Superintendent’s Service Award for Excellence!

Mrs. Hirst consistently goes above and beyond, and her dedication is truly inspiring. Everyone who has interacted with her, students and staff alike, can attest to her remarkable kindness. This nomination is a well-deserved recognition of her exceptional contributions to our school community. The photo below is a great example of her fun-loving spirit and adoration from the students she works with.

We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Hirst and wish her the very best in the selection process!

SPIRIT WEAR STORE

As you know, we were excited to launch the opening of our new online school spirit wear store with Lil’ Buckeroo Designs. Thank you to everyone who purchased some new Duck Gear.

The store is still open and you have an option to ship to your home or do a pick up in the shop in New Sarepta. Deliveries to the school only happen when we do a school wide campaign. We will let you know when new items are added and when we plan to do another school wide order. Don’t miss out on your chance to get some new spirit wear.
