Happy Thanksgiving to all of our families. We wish you a weekend filled with much love and joy. Please remember that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 9 (Thanksgiving Day) and Tuesday, October 10 (PD Day). We look forward to seeing all students back on Wednesday, October 11 – Remember to wear your Oilers jersey or a jersey from your favourite team!
Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for our Terry Fox Walk this past Friday. It was wonderful to see so many families on our walk to support a worthy cause!

If you are using this form to report an absence, please complete this form before 8am. Alternatively, you can call the school office at 780-929-1928.
**Teachers complete attendance and then the secretaries verify the absences based on their calls or online submissions. If you have reported an absence and have the PowerSchool app, you will get an immediate notification that your child is marked unexcused. Please be patient as it takes a few minutes for the secetaries to change the absence code to reflect your reported absence.

Parent Association
Our Family Fall Ball is quickly approaching! Tickets can be purchased through your PowerSchool account for 10$ per family. Purchase your ticket by Thursday, October 12th and your name will be entered for a door prize. The community doors at the back of the school will be open from 6:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. for check-in. Halloween costumes are optional, but we do ask that no weapons be brought to the dance. A reminder that all students need a guardian with them for the entirety of the event and we will have a cash concession available. We look forward to seeing all of you!

There are 6 Hot Lunch days and 1 Treat day in the first hot lunch session (Oct – Dec). We are hoping to increase the frequency starting in January 2024. But, we need your help! We need more volunteers in order to do this! If you are able to assist with Hot Lunch on Fridays from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, let us know. Email the Hot Lunch Team [email protected]
