It has been a very busy fall and there have been many events and activities to enjoy. Thank you to all parents or caregivers that joined us this past week for parent teacher meetings. It was wonderful to connect with you. If you didn’t get a chance to meet your child’s teacher, please be sure to email them to find a time to meet in the coming days.
We would like to extend a special Thank You to all that attended our joint Remembrance Day ceremony with St. Andres Academy. It was a beautiful service to honor those who have served.
Just a reminder there is no school from Novemer 13 – 17 as this is our Mid-Term Break. We look forward to seeing all students back in school on Monday, November 20!
Have a wonderful week!
– Susanne Stroud, Principal & Kathy Kloschinsky, Assistant Principal

If you are looking for a timely response to an urgent matter, please call the school.
EMAIL COMMUNICATION: The office staff and admin have limited time to respond to emails during the school day. The rest of our staff, including classroom teachers, are busy with students or supervision duties during the day, and it is rare that any of us can respond immediately. Thank you in advance for your understanding and consideration with regards to the timeliness of direct email communication.
Please don’t forget to use our student absence form when reporting time away from school for your child.
Parent Information
Alberta Education requires a signed registration form for each student every year. Completion of this form not only ensures that we have accurate health information and current emergency contact information, but also contains several required informed consent forms for your child. Please complete by November 30.
School Events
Extracurricular Activities
We are thankful for our staff who volunteer their time to coach and plan extracurricular activities for our students. We appreciate you!
There will be information coming out for all basketball teams in the next couple of weeks. Elementary (Mini) teams will get started with games in the last week of November and Junior High teams will begin practices as soon as our Sr. Volleyball teams are done with their playoff games.
In an effort to enhance communication around extracurricular opportunities, we have created a digital sign up for all activities as they become available.
If your child is interested in participating in any extracurricular activities, please use the sign-up forms that will be posted in this section. You can access each form by clicking on the images below.
Parent Association
Our Parent Association is looking for individuals interested in the following positions:
The Vice President position is best suited for an individual that is proactive, asks questions, problem solves, doesn’t mind jumping in when the President is unavailable, can help lead a team, and would ideally like to transition into the President role next school year. We are looking for someone that can commit to this role.
The Treasurer role is best suited for someone that is comfortable with numbers, is well organized, detail oriented and can keep financial records up-to-date as financial reports are presented at each monthly meeting (financial/accounting experience is not necessary).
Please reach out via email if you have questions, are interested, or know someone who would be interested. The email address is: [email protected]
Click on the image above to order hot lunch.
The Hot Lunch Program is up and running. It runs from October to June.
Menus will be loaded into the system in groups: October to Christmas break, January to Spring break and April to the end of the school year.
The Hot Lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering.
In order for vendors to fulfill our Hot Lunch orders, we need to close ordering from 10 – 14 days in advance, therefore, please ensure that you place your Hot Lunch order before each deadline. The deadline is noted on each vendor menu.
Your donation and support will help deliver a ‘Joyful Holiday Season’ to those in need in our community. Monetary donations can be made any time through the Beaumont Nisku Christmas Elves.
The City of Beaumont is gathering feedback and fine tuning the proposed plan for a permanent space for new high schools, parks, and recreation space in Élan. If anyone is interested in learning more about the neighbourhood plan, please feel free to drop into the upcoming open house. If you’re unable to attend, you are invited to take a few minutes to fill out the short survey, between Nov. 17 -30, to share your ideas and feedback on the proposed neighbourhood plan at www.beaumont.ab.ca.
