Welcome to Principal’s Corner. It was a busy week with lots of fun activities. Thanks to all our guest readers who came in to read this week. I can hardly believe that we are in the last week of May. This is your last chance to fill out our Leader in Me survey. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. Currently only 58 families have filled out the survey. We would love for more! We are excited to be part of the International Students Program next year. We are looking for some host families from our school. Please check out the information below.

    – Susanne Stroud, Principal

    Leader in Me

We are asking parents to complete this simple survey. Students (Grades 4-9) and staff will complete the survey at school. We appreciate your input.

    Pictures of the Week

Congratulations to our leaders of the month. These students demonstrated HONESTY! Click on the image above to access the folder of images. (The junior high images will be added later in the week.)

Mayor Daneluik and NDP Candidate, Cam Heenan, accepted the invitation to read to our students this week.

Noah Gregor, NHL player for the San Jose Sharks, was a guest reader during Reading Week. Noah is a former student of Beaumont. Our students also had a Starbooks Cafe and got a chance to “taste” different books.

Dress Like Your Favourite Character was a great day!

Grade 9 students doing a science lab on acids and bases.

This was our first time playing in a flag football league. Students and coaches had fun and learned lots. We look forward to playing this sport again next year. (We will get a photo of our Grade 6 team and post later)
