sPECIAL PRESENTATION COMING SOON!
We are excited to announce that EDMS will be hosting Jesse Lipscombe to speak to our JH students on June 10.
J.E. Lapointe and Caledonia JH students will also be joining us to hear Jesse’s impactful message. Black Gold leadership students had the opportunity to hear Jesse speak in a virtual presentation a couple months ago and thanks to the support of our parent association and the other two schools, we were able to join together to bring the message to a much larger group of students. More details will follow shortly.

TRACK & FIELD
junior high (JH) track & field
The JH track meet is on Tuesday, May 28. Permission forms are due at 5:00 pm today (Sunday, May 26). Please check your email for additional information. We will have a short practice/meeting for all JH Track & Field team members on Monday, May 27 after school.
elementary track & field
Mrs. Flontek is working with the elementary students in physed classes for track & field. If your child is in upper elementary and is interested in trying-out for the track meet, please save the date for the following:
- Friday, June 7th – elementary track meet at RMS (Riverview Middle School in Devon)
Permission forms and details will be sent out when Mrs. Flontek has identified all team members.
Congratulations to our elementary students who participated in the division high jump meet this past week. It was a very successful experience!
ELEM & JH FLAG FOOTBALL NOTES
Flag football games are weekly on Wednesdays, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Turf Training Centre in Nisku. This is the last week of Flag Football games.
SPIRIT WEAR STORE
As you know, we were excited to launch the opening of our new online school spirit wear store with Lil’ Buckeroo Designs. Thank you to everyone who purchased some new Duck Gear.
The store is still open and you have an option to ship to your home or do a pick up in the shop in New Sarepta. Deliveries to the school only happen when we do a school wide campaign like we just completed prior to Dec. 10. We will let you know when new items are added and when we plan to do another school wide order. Don’t miss out on your chance to get some new spirit wear. HOT LUNCH
Click on the image above to order hot lunch. HOT LUNCH is now open for APRIL to JUNE.
The Hot Lunch Program is up and running. It runs from October to June.
Menus will be loaded into the system in groups: October to Christmas break, January to Spring break and April to the end of the school year.
The Hot Lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering.
In order for vendors to fulfill our Hot Lunch orders, we need to close ordering from 10 – 14 days in advance, therefore, please ensure that you place your Hot Lunch order before each deadline. The deadline is noted on each vendor menu.
