Welcome to the Principal’s Corner
Our school is collecting donations for the foodbank. This is our annual Pi Day contest. See the image below for contest rules. Thank you for supporting our community service project.
REMINDER: Please send indoor shoes with your child. ALL STUDENTS must change into indoor shoes to keep our school clean and protect our gym floors. Need help finding extra shoes? We are happy to help, please let us know!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Is your child a bus student? If they are, all students are to go home on the bus unless the teacher or office is notified otherwise from a parent or guardian. Notification needs to be sent via email prior to the current school day or if it is an emergent situation, a phone call to the office will suffice. Students who tell supervisors that they are walking home or getting picked up from others is becoming a safety concern (as we don’t always have time to confirm the accuracy of the message when we receive it a few seconds before the bus leaves). We are responsible for student safety and thus, notification for any end of day changes, must come from parents or guardians. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this matter.
Enjoy a few pink shirt day highlights!
Have a fabulous week!

BASKETBALL NOTES
Our Junior High basketball seasons have all come to a finish. Thank you to all students for their hard work over the season! We would also like to send a big thank you to our coaches who volunteered their time to support our school basketball teams. Extra thanks to all parents who came out to watch and cheer for our teams and to drive to away games. You are appreciated! Our teams will have a final wrap up activity in the next couple of weeks.
This week we are featuring pictures of the senior girls team. This is a team with grit and determination and coach Kloschinsky is so proud of each one of you!
EXTRA-CURRICULAR REMINDERS
In an effort to enhance communication around extracurricular opportunities, we have created a digital sign up for all activities as they become available. This google form is required for students to participate and to help us with our planning. Once practices begin, parents will fill out the required permission forms in PowerSchool and pay the applicable fee.
If your child is interested in participating in any extracurricular activities, please use the sign-up forms that will be posted in this section. You can access each form by clicking on the images below.
There are no extracurricular signups at this time. Floor Hockey teams have all started practicing and each coach will communicate the practice schedule with parents.
SPIRIT WEAR STORE
As you know, we were excited to launch the opening of our new online school spirit wear store with Lil’ Buckeroo Designs. Thank you to everyone who purchased some new Duck Gear.
The store is still open and you have an option to ship to your home or do a pick up in the shop in New Sarepta. Deliveries to the school only happen when we do a school wide campaign like we just completed prior to Dec. 10. We will let you know when new items are added and when we plan to do another school wide order. Don’t miss out on your chance to get some new spirit wear. You can visit our store by clicking on this LINK. Goooo Ducks!

HOT LUNCH
Click on the image above to order hot lunch.
The Hot Lunch Program is up and running. It runs from October to June.
Menus will be loaded into the system in groups: October to Christmas break, January to Spring break and April to the end of the school year.
The Hot Lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering.
In order for vendors to fulfill our Hot Lunch orders, we need to close ordering from 10 – 14 days in advance, therefore, please ensure that you place your Hot Lunch order before each deadline. The deadline is noted on each vendor menu.
