Thank you to our Grade 3 students for writing some kindness letters. You certainly made these people feel special and filled up their emotional bank account!

Grade 6 students give back to our community by shoveling our neighbours’ sidewalks. What a great way to show appreciation for our neighbours.

Wellness & Social Emotional Learning

Part A: Our focus for December is Inclusion. Students will get “Caught You” tickets from staff when they are including others.

Grade 2 students were learning about Mexico had fun making shaving cream poinsettias.

Grade 5 students are learning about the Metis people and constructed Red River carts.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Students are busy creating Christmas Art!

Upcoming Events & Activities

Our Parent Association has been instrumental to the success of our school. They have fundraised for field trips, playground equipment, extra school resources and they also run our hot lunch program. We hope to start up our hot lunch program again but we need volunteers. Please consider volunteering your time to help this valuable group that supports all of our students. GOOGLE MEET LINK

This message is for all parents of players that are planning on playing football next year at Ecole Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School. The Beaumont Bandits Football Club is holding their annual AGM virtually on December 8th from 6-8 pm. Google Meet link.

The Caregiver Education Team is proud to offer free mental health programming for parents and caregivers of children and youth through our partnership with the Mental Health Foundation. In response to the global pandemic, our programming continues to be offered virtually at this time.

Sessions for this month: technology and the teenage brain (a session for parents and teens together), sleep and family mental health, self-regulation, depression and self-injury, and resilience in parenting, & Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
