    Welcome to the Principal’s Corner

Winter has arrived. Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather. Unless it is extremely cold, students will be outside for recess. We have had a few boot mix ups already; please label belongings with names/initials for easy identification.

Christmas concerts will be here very soon! Don’t forget to save the dates: Dec. 13 and 14. Details for times and grades are listed on our calendar and in our events section below. Quick reminder: all guests to our school must remove their shoes. Thank you in advance for your help keeping our school clean.

We are excited to launch the opening of our new online School Spiritwear store with Lil’ Buckeroo Designs. If you would like to receive your items prior to Christmas, orders must be placed by December 10 at the very latest. You can visit our store by clicking on this LINK. Goooo Ducks!

    VOLLEYBALL WRAP-UP

Congratulations to all of our Volleyball teams on a well played season! The senior teams were able to wrap things up with a fun pep rally on Friday afternoon in a staff vs. student game. There was so much energy in the building and everyone enjoyed themselves.

JH BOYS VOLLEYBALL: This past week, our Junior High boys volleyball team enjoyed a fun team wrap up event with a celebration, skills competition, and a game against the parents. The boys have been asking for a team building activity that included a school sleepover since the beginning of the season. Mr. Patrick and Mrs. Kloschinsky met them halfway and instead planned this fun event. We would like to send out a big THANK YOU to all of the parents for their support this past season and send an extra token of appreciation to all that were able to come out to play against the boys. It was a really great evening!

JH GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: The Junior High Senior Girls volleyball team also wrapped up their season with a celebration and some fun activities this past Friday. Unfortunately, we don’t have any pictures to share from their celebration, but we wanted to pass along a BIG THANK YOU to all parents for driving to games and being the BEST cheerleaders for our girls.

    BASKETBALL NOTES

The mini-basketball teams have started their season. This past week both the boys and girls teams played against West Haven. Although both teams lost by a few points, the experience was filled with lots of fun and excitement. Both teams have kept a large squad of players to build the skills in our program. We have signed up to play extra games and each team member will still get to play three games as we take a different crew to each game. The mini-basketball teams will play in a tournament in January to wrap up their season. Thank you to all the parents and coaches for giving their time to make this happen!

Information will be coming out soon for all Junior High basketball teams in the next few days and practices have already begun. Please note: we will be utilizing TeamSnap to help support communication for all of our basketball teams. Parents of these students can expect an invite through the app in the next few days.

    EXTRA-CURRICULAR REMINDERS

In an effort to enhance communication around extracurricular opportunities, we have created a digital sign up for all activities as they become available. This google form is required for students to participate and to help us with our planning. Once practices begin, parents will fill out the required permission forms in PowerSchool and pay the applicable fee.

If your child is interested in participating in any extracurricular activities, please use the sign-up forms that will be posted in this section. You can access each form by clicking on the images below.

** There are currently no activity sign-ups.

The Hot Lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering.

In order for vendors to fulfill our Hot Lunch orders, we need to close ordering from 10 – 14 days in advance, therefore, please ensure that you place your Hot Lunch order before each deadline. The deadline is noted on each vendor menu.
