Welcome to the Principal’s Corner

Our days continue to be filled with lots of additional activities. There are too many photos to share, but there will be lots of additional photos that will be shared digitally later on through QR codes that will be featured in our yearbook. Don’t forget to purchase yours if you have not already done so.

We are excited to welcome Caledonia Park and J.E.Lapointe to our school tomorrow (June 10) to join our Junior High students in hearing an inspiring message from Jesse Lipscombe. Thank you again to our parent association and Black Gold for their support in this endeavour.

Exam schedules are posted and have been emailed out. Please check them out so your child isn’t missing any important dates. JH parents can CLICK HERE to fill out the permission form for their child to go home after each exam.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

The next few weeks will be filled with assessments, exams, field trips, and other special events. Please be sure to check the weekly update or our school calendar regularly for the most up-to-date information.

sPECIAL PRESENTATION tomorrow!

We are excited to announce that EDMS will be hosting Jesse Lipscombe to speak to our JH students on June 10.

J.E. Lapointe and Caledonia JH students will also be joining us to hear Jesse’s impactful message. Black Gold leadership students had the opportunity to hear Jesse speak in a virtual presentation a couple months ago and thanks to the support of our parent association and the other two schools, we were able to join together to bring the message to a much larger group of students. More details will follow shortly.

The classroom teacher will inform you if your child is getting an award.

TRACK & FIELD

elementary track & field

Congratulations to all of our elementary track & field students on a very successful track meet day, despite the extremely windy conditions. THANK YOU to Mrs. Flontek for organizing our track team and to all the volunteers who helped to make this experience possible. Your dedication and support is truly appreciated!

SPIRIT WEAR STORE

As you know, we were excited to launch the opening of our new online school spirit wear store with Lil’ Buckeroo Designs. Thank you to everyone who purchased some new Duck Gear.

The store is still open and you have an option to ship to your home or do a pick up in the shop in New Sarepta. Deliveries to the school only happen when we do a school wide campaign like we just completed prior to Dec. 10. We will let you know when new items are added and when we plan to do another school wide order. Don’t miss out on your chance to get some new spirit wear. You can visit our store by clicking on this LINK. Goooo Ducks!

HOT LUNCH

Click on the image above to order hot lunch. HOT LUNCH is now open for APRIL to JUNE.

The Hot Lunch Program is up and running. It runs from October to June.

Menus will be loaded into the system in groups: October to Christmas break, January to Spring break and April to the end of the school year.

The Hot Lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering.

In order for vendors to fulfill our Hot Lunch orders, we need to close ordering from 10 – 14 days in advance, therefore, please ensure that you place your Hot Lunch order before each deadline. The deadline is noted on each vendor menu.
