Weekly Update - January 29th
Dear families, From January 28 to February 4, communities across Edmonton are launching Stollery No Bounds Week, a city-wide awareness effort focused on the new Stollery No Bounds campaign, a $1 billion comprehensive campaign supporting Stollery kids today while building a new stand-alone Stollery for kids tomorrow. Our school will participate on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD by inviting students and staff to wear purple shirts or accessories to help paint the city purple in support of building a new Stollery. Stollery No Bounds is a once-in-a-generation effort to support care for kids and families today and build a new stand-alone children’s hospital for the future. While the care provided at the Stollery is world class, the current hospital environment was not designed to support growing demand or the evolving needs of kids and families. This year’s focus is awareness and learning. While fundraising is not required to participate, we encourage families who are able to make a small optional donation, such as a loonie or toonie, to help support the building of a new Stollery Children’s Hospital. Families who wish to learn more can visit StolleryNoBounds.com. Thank you for helping our school community stand with kids and families across Edmonton and beyond. Sincerely, ÉDMS Administration |
